  1. Usual teeming masses for the queens visit. Look at all the bunting and union flags. Spectacular sight. Unfortunately I was busy and couldn’t attend, but I hope all you Munguinites had a great day out.

  3. After we become independent, on the death, or abdication of the present Queen of Scots, we must have a referendum on whether we wish to remain subservient to the house of Saxe Coburg Gotha, or become a constitutional republic.
If I’m still around, I know which way I’ll be voting.

    1. Yes. I think it’s an independence question.

Everyone has their own opinion, but I think the way the UK behaves towards royalty is ridiculous.

No way for a modern country to behave.

The photograph is of a human.
I have a neighbour that looks and lives like the picture, she doesn’t call herself queen.
My neighbour lives in a wee flat, goes out shopping in the CO-OP, tends her flower pots and likes a wee sherry, a normal human.
When are we going to get past the stupid idea that the royal family are any different from the Royal Family that was a tv programme?
Hell lizzie the last thinks you can heat a state ballroom with a 3kW electric heater. I don’t have a state ballroom in my wee hoose, perhaps Munguin Tower has and he can tell us about heating same.
Have you noticed that the 6 big energy companies have put up their energy prices, yes when the rates in Europe have fallen, nothing to do with it being hidden from us during the summer when we don’t consume a lot, wait until January’s bill.
So back to royalty, we can decide if we want to continue with the stupidity or become a modern day republic with perhaps NO Leader other than an elected First Minister, one that can be removed by a democratic vote.
Our Republic is coming, maybe not this year but sooner than we think.
Meanwhile unt and jon are off to Belfast to see the real leader of the english parliament, yes Arlene of the DUP. Real royalty there, flat earther and earth age denying royal, with an unusual accent.

    1. Obviously, Munguin’s apartments are heated to optimum temperature by the most efficient and green technology.

I have a Bunsen Burner to warm my hand in the servants’ quarters.

What’s that about prices going up?

      I’ve not heard about that!

      1. The big 6 have quietly upped their prices during the summer months, it’s in response to the maybot’s price cap, so now they’re all using the maximum cap as their new average price based on an average house.
We all know if you raise the average then the overall price goes up for everyone.
Doing it in the summer then we don’t see the effect, in January, you’ll see the effect.
It’s a smoke and mirrors competitive market, it doesn’t exist, we are on infinite Busbars of the SuperGrid, electricity generated in Scotland is powering the south of england, we pay more in transmission charges for power created in Scotland as we are further from the major load centres, figure that out.
The biggest generator of Low Carbon Energy is EDF, French Nuclear Company, it’s all the way you spin it, yes nuclear is Low Carbon, no smoking chimney but a gentle release of nuclear particles into the atmosphere.
The current advert from EDF is just the spin of low carbon, unless you know that they’re a nuclear company. These companies are owned by their shareholders and return dividends the their shareholders.
Scottish Power is owned by a Spanish company, they’ve sold off their Hydro generation to concentrate on Wind farms. What can be more low carbon than using rainfall to generate electrical energy.
So, whilst we are having our attention diverted by a corrupt leadership election the power companies can quietly do their own thing.
Reading between the lines, Hammond the chancellor will be spending more time with his family soon, telling the contenders that their plans for the economy are trash and untruthful isn’t a master plan to stay in office. Always thinking he might just be waiting for the brexitexit of unt or jon to take over.

  5. Queen Margrethe is behaving admirably non-regal I guess. But isn’t swilling fruit juice while munching a sandwich and smoking a cigarette down to the filter taking it just a tad too far? 😉

        1. Of course, the thing is that the Danish queen, who is also queen of Greenland and the Faroe Islands, doesn’t much care about her image. She is who she is.
