  1. He’s a prize dick alright but if anyone seriously thinks he got sacked for leaking then they need to get a clue.

The Chinese wanted his head on a spike before they’d talk about “trade” after his “aircraft carriers in the S.China sea” comments. They got it.

May can’t sack whoever leaked because she no longer has the authority within the Tory party to do so – and it was probably her own “chief of staff” who leaked it anyway.

    Same old English games…..

  2. Message in a Bottle , Gav.
The shaky nail has let your coat down.
Maybe untruthful will help you with your speech, you know the revolving opinion style so you can be back in the running for the maybot’s job.
Last job to do before leaving should have been to recall the carrier, without aircraft, from going to Chinese waters.
Plenty of time to watch all those old WAR movies, Gav, the ones where englandland stood alone against the furriners.
You’ll not be missed, shut up and go away, seems a good catch phrase.

  3. Hard luck Gav.
Your speech will never see the light of publication.
James Hewitt’s grandson has just been born, some where in englandland, all the media will now fill with no information as harry hewitt wales doesn’t like the media.
The maybot will be thinking her prayer at the weekend has been answered, her god wants us to get on with brexit.

    1. Douglas you beat me to it. Apparently it’s due to the march starting at 1.30pm not 11am as the council wanted. No trouble occurred , no major incidents were hindered, but yeah let’s charge him. No charges for sweary woman and pals at George Square though.

for actual feck’s sake. They mean to crush us don’t they.

      1. …and then you have the SNP themselves smearing people who went on the march or covered it.

Like I said on Wings, if there’s ever a new viable indy movement/party then gods help the SNP.

The SNP “leadership” is well within their own bubble or have dubious “advisors”/civil servants.

Tempted to say “leave them to it” in the EU elections & see if that gives the SNP a wakeup call. See if it reminds them who they are – or who they’re meant to be and speaker of the HoC indicates some have lost the plot. Totally.

Enjoyed the march on Saturday, now disgusted with the “SNP three”.
Its not as if those elections are going to matter anyway as they’ll all be getting new redundancy notices in a few months anyway.

        1. But, think of the coup that would hand the Tories and Labour if people didn;t vote SNP.

I’m disappointed that they can’t be more supportive of the grassroots, especially one that appears to try to bring people together… But, like it or not, the SNP really are our only hope.

          1. There’s a bit of a schism at the moment, which is about as stupid a thing as you could ever imagine. Wee Ruth must be happy as Larry, preparing for he First Ministership.

        2. I first joined the SNP in 1960, and I’m now am considering my position and support for the present day hierarchy.
It is the Yes campaign that got people involved, motivated and it was the Yes campaign that damn near pulled it off.
I don’t understand WHY the SNP are fighting England’s battles, they obviously want to leave Europe, we don’t, THAT’S the fight the Scottish National Party should be concentrating on.

      2. Looks like it. Quite who brought this charge is a tad unclear. AFAIK Glasgow has an SNP administration and Scottish Police had already reached a deal with AUOB. So, who is left to charge Manny Singh?

        Frankly pathetic, whoever it was.

Once we know who they are, perhaps we could go for a reverse squeeze?

        1. the march was always due to start at 1.30pm to allow folk to travel from other parts. The council wanted it to start at 11am because they said it would hinder emergency services if there was a major incident. But a major incident can happen at any time so that doesn’t make too much sense to me. The council might also have mentioned unrest – some football matches start early so folk don’t have the chance to turn up drunk and cause problems at the stadia. But there have never been any incidents like that reported at AUOB.

          1. Completely agree with that.

There’s never trouble at these marches… anywhere in the country.

This seems like utter nonsense, but I reserve judgement for the present, except to say that this shouldn’t be an arresting offence.

            Utter nonsense.

Go arrest people who have overseen the deaths of tens of thousands of claimants, if you want to fill the prisons up.

  5. Isnt it a bit strange that the subject of the blog, Gav, gets off scotfree with leaking RuK government secret meetings even after having signed the official secrets act 1911.
Now we have an arrest for starting a march late.
Must be against the law to carry a watch with the wrong time on it.
How about throwing away a sweetie paper, that must be against some law.
Isn’t it against the law to shout abusively at a passerby, not really if they’re onionists.
Strange old world we live on.

    1. actually it is against the law to litter (!) but yeah you couldn’t make it up. Manny Singh lifted, Gav Williamson £17k pay off.

      1. How many people do you know that have been arrested for littering?. Yes I do know it’s against the law to drop litter and not pick it up, it’s also against the law to count postal ballots before the actual count has started but untruthful did it to sample the indy result. No crime committed, the case is closed.
Time for the Atomic Defense, The Dugdale.
It was my honestly held view that the march started at the correct time.
As in the grand ol duke of york, you have to start somewhere to get to the start , you march the people all the way up and then all the way down again.
Don’t feel sorry for Gav, he’s still on his MP’s salary with expenses, free travel, subsidised canteen and public bar.
