Crook of Devon, maybe?

No, Jim. Not Crook of Devon. 🙂

I feel you may be on to a winner this time, wee penguin pal!
Nothing springs to mind immediately, and no obvious clues showing…
As long as no Munguinites hail from there nor pass through often – here’s looking at you, kid. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞

Munguin says: Thank you, Auld Touns, I’ve got my flippers crossed.

Haven’t a scooby. Will Munguin be giving himself a prize?
LikeLiked by 1 person
He’s planned a prize for himself, Nebulous, but he won;t tell me what it is, although he did mention few French lessons, so, it might be dinner at the Tour d’Or…

If it’s his prize, I take it he wouldn’t be footing the bill.

Has he ever?

Gosh the wee fella might well have won this time. There’s not even many guesses!

He knew that if he kept at it… the day would finally come when he would win. 🙂

Dave doesn’t know where it is either.
I think he thinks Munguin cheats to win!

Not a cheat at all. There are plenty of distinctive things in the photos, like the wiggly hedge and the garden with the spiral topiary and the gargoyles. If, as seems likely, Munguin wins this week, he deserves his victory.

Not that I’m sucking up to Munguin or anything, of course…

🙂 I’ve tried doing that. It doesn’t do any good.

Excessive topiary work on display in No 6
I think the little chap is rightfully looking smug in No 8. You will let us know where Munguin was victorious?

I will indeed, Alan.

Well, I don’t wish to brag or anything, but for me, the drain in No 3 gives it away. It’s so ……… you know, drain-like. Anyhow, I’m not giving away any secrets at this stage (because I don’t have the faintest idea).
(PS It’s not Auchindrain in Argyllshire is it, a bit far from Dundee right enough? Nah, can’t be. It’s a deserted Highland township. Oh well, never mind.)

OMG, for a second there Munguin thought you might know, and his dinner at Tour d’Or was in danger of not happening. It was, after all a very distinctive drain, possibly world famous.
Ha ha… I promise we’ll try to make it a LITTLE easier next time.
🙂 🙂
Thanks to all for being good sports!

Sorry Tris, I’m stumped.

I think, NIMN it is time to reveal that Munguin was in Redford, a village in Angus.

Munguin claims his first ever win. 🙂
