THIS IS REFORM

Just like Trump £$£$£$£$£

A Reform UK councillor with the power to influence the fate of Lancashire’s care homes is simultaneously a director of a private care company that could profit from their closure. Now, explosive emails reveal that Councillor Graham Dalton has resorted to issuing legal threats in an attempt to silence an opposition councillor who dared to question this glaring conflict of interest.

The controversy centres on plans to shut down ten council-run residential homes and day centres. As the cabinet member for adult social care, Dalton holds a key role in this controversial review. Yet, he is also the co-owner of First for Care GB Limited, a private provider that offers services directly overlapping with those under threat.

When Labour’s Councillor Kim Snape suggested Dalton could financially benefit from the closures, the response was not transparency, but a threat of legal action, delivered through council staff. This move has been condemned as a direct assault on essential public debate and accountability.

Andrea is at it

Reform UK’s Andrea Jenkyns is claiming travel expenses for her job as Mayor of Lincolnshire, why? Because she lives in Yorkshire (despite saying she lives in Lincolnshire on her nomination forms).

Inhuman

“…who have broken into our country…”

I wonder if it occurs to people like this revolting old man, who was thrown out of Reform earlier this year, that Brits broke into other people’s countries around the world, took them over, made the people learn English and stole , plundered and raped. In doing so, who knows how many millions of people were killed.

I’d like to live in a country where people can go about their business without the fear of being stabbed by anyone.

Alright?

Hmmmm… I’m wondering if she knows any numbers at all…

I wonder if she’d have a fit if we suggested then, that a little closer to home we could use ROMAN numerals…

Our deepest apologies, your imperial orangeness

Hardly a day goes by without the BBC, at least in their Scottish branch office, misrepresenting the Scottish Government or the SNP or the Greens. Indeed, they have just apologised for using a Tory Press Release almost exactly word for word.

And then there was this:

But someone misrepresented his special senile Uncle Bone Spurs in America and my goodness, does Nigel look cross or what?

BYE BYE MANDY, YET AGAIN

So Starmer has sacked Mandelson as UK ambassador to the USA on the basis of released communications between Mandelson and Jeffrey Epstein.

Ironically he will, next week, be playing host to someone else who had exactly the same relationship with Epstein.

I say he will be hosting because, although officially it is the head of state who hosts state visits, we are all pretty certain that Charlie is looking forward to this as much as he would root canal treatment without anaesthetic. We know that it was Starmer who wanted to creep to Trump by inviting him on an unprecedented second state visit. (Some would say it was a clever move…after all UK avoided a lot of the tariffs Trump put on other countries, because he’s such a vain little man and flattery always wins him over… At the same time many say it makes him a ridiculous creep.)

The correspondence shows that the two were very close… and Mandelson was furious at Epstein’s arrest over soliciting minors. And, just like Andrew York, Mandelson continued to see Epstein after his first charges and helped him with his defence.

I doubt anyone is accusing Mandelson of being involved in any of this. He is, after all, openly gay and unlikely to have been interested in Epstein’s clients. But he MUST have known, if they were as close and as often in each others’ company…as, of course, must have Trump.

I’m just astounded that background checks on him didn’t throw up his closeness to Epstein over so many years. It seems incredible given the sensitivity of the position he was about to undertake. Even if the damning communications were not known at the time, surely it was clear that he had had a close relationship with the man over many years.

What was Starmer’s team thinking not going into this in great detail before appointing him to a massively important diplomatic role? You can bet Putin and Xi knew all about it!

It will be interesting to see what Trump has to say about his sacking.

Also, I’m looking forward to seeing the English crowds’ reactions to Felon Bone Spurs when he arrives there on Tuesday.

Very briefly, on the subject of Charlie Kirk, I’m sorry he was shot. I’m sorry he died. Apparently Mr Trump is also deeply sorry… Much less so for Melissa, Hortman…but then she was only a Democtrat.

On Saturday, Munguin is off for a few days to have a break and relax.

I know how much some people look forward to “All Our Yesterdays”, so I’ll publish it tomorrow instead of Saturday, if that’s OK.

SEEMS SOME OF THE MAGA CROWD ARE LESS THAN HAPPY …

…and no wonder

In his customary extremely presidential fashion, Trump has released a statement on Truth Social. Of course, it is more like an unhinged rant against Democrats including “crooked” Hillary and against some of his own, now disowned, MAGA followers.

(By the way, imagine Trump calling anyone else crooked! You have to laugh.)

Well, for a start there’s a lot of bull in there… I mean “I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any president in our country’s history.” Hmmm…

Enumerate these successes, Donny! I truly can’t think of any…

But to go back to the point. You say, Bone Spurs, that Epstein was all a hoax? So why, under your last presidency, was he in prison? Likewise, why was and still is, Maxwell in prison. Should she not be released immediately and pardonned?

You say your ex-supportes have been conned by the “lunatic left” for 8 long years. Maybe you could let us know which 8 long years these were… and who formed the administration(s) at those times… Were they people who voted for you in November, despite having been conned for 8 long years? If so, weren’t you president for 4 of these long years?

Some of the responses from the draft dodger’s support on Truth Social, which only has Trump supporters, (as reported by Leah McElrath on Bluesky), are saying…

… Wish we could see the end of that post.

Talking of the Attorney General…

Well, well, well, indeed. So you knew the dude whose file was sitting on your desk, but then that file mysteriously didn’t exist, but then did exist again but it was all fake having been invented by Obama, Biden and Crooked Hillary? Just checking, coz, y’know, it’s all a bit complex!

Can anyone imagine Biden, Obama and Clinton sitting down together to fabricate the Epstein files?

And quite aside from Epstein, there is this revolting piece…

Only a moron would brag about that sort of thing… and now, Mr Insurrectionist, don’t you kinda wish you hadn’t bragged about teens with no clothes on? Eh, Donny?

Not a good look, old man.

“Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

Did someone tell you real people add this to their letters?

PS: And now there’s this…

And this

Oh dear.

COULDN’T RESIST THIS

I didn’t type it, just copied it from Facebook’s Occupy Democrats. They end with: “Please like and share”.

BREAKING: Donald Trump gives an insane defense of his corrupt decision to accept a luxury jet from the nation of Qatar — which he intends to “upgrade” to use as Air Force One.

Foreign countries are blatantly bribing the White House now…

“Mr. President what do you have say to people who view that luxury jet as a personal gift to you? Why not leave it behind—” a reporter asked inside the Oval Office.

“You’re ABC fake news right? Only ABC,” said Trump “Well, a few of you. Let me tell you: You should be embarrassed asking that question. Uh, they’re giving us a free jet. I could say ‘No, no, no don’t give us— I want to pay you a billion or four hundred million or whatever it is.'”

“Or I could say ‘Thank you very much.’ You know, there was an old golfer named Sam Snead,” he went on. “Did you ever hear of him? He won eighty-two tournaments. He was a great golfer and he had a motto ‘When they give you a putt, you say thank you very much, you pick up your ball, and you walk to the next hole.'”

“A lot of people are stupid. They say ‘No, no I insist on putting it.’ And then they putt it, they miss it, and their partner gets angry at them,” Trump continued. “You know what? Remember that. Sam Snead. When they give you a putt, you pick it up and you walk to the next hole and you say thank you very much.”

Democrats have already raised concerns that Trump may intend to take the Boeing 747-8 in question — which retails for around $400 million — with him for personal use when he eventually leaves the White House. It would be illegal to do so, but he has already well-demonstrated his utter lack of respect for the rule of law.

“Even in a presidency defined by grift, this move is shocking. It makes clear that U.S. foreign policy under Donald Trump is up for sale,” said Robert Weissman, co-president of the consumer advocacy group Public Citizen.

Trump previously announced the gift of the jet on Truth Social.

“So the fact that the Defense Department is getting a GIFT, FREE OF CHARGE, of a 747 aircraft to replace the 40 year old Air Force One, temporarily, in a very public and transparent transaction, so bothers the Crooked Democrats that they insist we pay, TOP DOLLAR, for the plane,” he wrote. “Anybody can do that! The Dems are World Class Losers!!!”

Of course, Qatar is not donating this jet as an act of charity. They are doing this to curry favor with Trump and to tilt U.S. foreign policy even further in their favor. This makes America look like a tinpot dictatorship to the rest of the world.

Please like and share!

And then , there is this..

REEVES AND A WORD SALAD OF NONSENSE

Thanks to Drew for alerting us to this. He posted it on Tuesday’s post but I reckoned that too few people would see it there so I’m repeating it here because it is important.

Brian Leishman, Labour MP for Grangemouth, asked Rachel Reeves a question about closing the refinery there. It’s in the form of a video from Twitter and it won’t let me upload it here, so I give you the link.

Drew said: I don’t know why she got to her feet. I heard words, but they meant heehaw.

I’m sure you will agree.

What they are doing is diabolical and it was a totally valid question from her own back bench.

Perhaps the reason that she couldn’t give a proper answer was that Anas (read my lips) Sarwar, in the run up to the election last year, complained that the SNP was doing nothing about the closure of the plant (they were)… but that if people voted Labour, they would save Grangemouth and all the jobs.

Let’s remind ourselves that the company is closing a factory in the UK with the loss of thousands of Scottish jobs and making available £600,000,000 (black hole, anyone?) to the same company to help them open a factory in Belgium… creating thousands of jobs for the Belgians.

As for her excuse that the was the party opposite what done it… well, we know that it was the Tories that came up with that plan… (Why? Backhanders?)

But there is no reason why the Labour government cannot refuse to carry it forward. In fact quite the opposite.

After all, the Tories had promised winter fuel payments to millions of pensioners and Labour came in and happily took these payments away. Maybe they just see pensioners as less important and worth less than big business.

So what is the reason, Reeves, Sarwar and Starmer? Is it because, for some reason, you don’t want Scotland to have a refinery?

(Excuse any typos. My spell checker hasn’t transferred to my new computer.)

IT’S NO 1; IT’S TOP OF THE POPS

Freezing this Christmas is apparently selling very well and leading in the download charts in the UK despite the BBC refusing to play it.

I can’t understand why the BBC wouldn’t play it. It’s not like it is advertising anything (the BBC has to be careful about that); it does not criticise the royal family (they have to watch that too) and it is not pornographic.

It’s just a protest song about the fact that British pensioners on low incomes have had between two and three hundred pounds taken from them by the UK government to fill a black hole that the government swore it knew nothing about before it took office.

Oddly John Swinney did know about it (despite working in another parliament in another country) and put it to Mr Sarwar during the debate before the election, where famously, Mr Sarwar answered that there would be no austerity under Labour.

I’m not sure that the BBC was wise to ban it. It simply and gives the song more publicity.

And while we are having a bit of a snigger at embarrassing SIR Starmer, maybe we should have a bit of a titter at old Pam.

I mean, if you thought the Labour government was mean to take £200 or £300 from pensioners, all that fades into relative insignificance, when Glasgow Pam’s £31,000 is mentioned.

There is an embarrassingly long list of Labour MPs and MSPs including Yvette Cooper and HRH DAME Baillie being similarly laughed at.

It’s worth noting that some decent Labour MPs and MSPs are protesting against their government’s decision. Up to a hundred, apparently are so upset by the decision that they may vote against the whip. And to be fair, even Sarwar has said that he thinks it is the wrong decision.

Absolutely weird

In 2010, there were 35 food banks in the UK, all operated by the Trussell Trust:

  • Number of food banks: The number of food banks in the UK increased rapidly in the 2010s.
  • Food parcels distributed: In 2010/11, the Trussell Trust distributed 61,000 food parcels.
  • Growth of food banks: By 2022, the total number of food banks in the UK had grown to 2,600.
  • Growth of food parcels distributed: In 2022-2023, the Trussell Trust distributed nearly three million food parcels, a 4,900% increase from 2010/11.

The Trussell Trust opened its first UK food bank in 2000 and operates over half of the food banks in the country.

In 2023/24, over 3.12 million people used a food bank in the UK. The Trussell Trust distributed emergency food parcels to people across the UK, including:

  • Northern Ireland: Over 90,300 emergency food parcels
  • Scotland: 262,400 emergency food parcels
  • Wales: 187,458 emergency food parcel

Proud?

I wonder if the unpleasant old grifter took along a contribution to the foodbanks he opened, unlike his grifting son and daughter in law who turned up empty handed.
