DON’T WORRY. YOU CAN LIE WITH IMPUNITY. IT’S AGAINST THE RULES TO CALL YOU OUT ON IT

I’m reminded of Dennis Skinner MP, who once said in the Commons: “Half the Tory members opposite are crooks.”

When the Speaker told him to withdraw, he retorted. “OK, half the Tory members aren’t crooks.”

But Dennis is sharp. Most of them aren’t.

  1. That speaker when the MP
Showed the pics of three children killed by the Israelis.

Ruled out of order for using PROPS his actual words.

About pics of real dead children
    What a wanker.

    Bercow was far better

      1. I have no idea why anyone would call pictures of young
Dead Children PROPS at any time.
Shows something lacking in his soul.

    1. Putting aside the Duchess’s fashion statements and how she chooses to accessorise…what’s all this about about Gordon Brown being quietly sneaked in to Holyrood Palace “sans publicity “. Is the Queen’s Commissioner in Scotland seeking his counsel on the maintenance and strengthening of the Union?

      1. Yes, i believe that Channel Four tried to film this and were refused permission.

Clearly His Magnificence afforded Brown the honour of an audience so he could be appraised of the Brown ancient plan for devolution super plus.

The deal is Butt out of Politics Willie.

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with you.

Your massively overpaid job is to open things and read, however haltingly, a few words written by your staff, at these opening events.

        Your opinion isn’t required.

Now butt out boy, or you’ll find yourself even less popular that you already are in our country.

  2. Do I detect a small change in the framing of the handcock’s managing of the testing resource?
The radio news is saying that he ‘Misled’ the PM on the subject and signed off the transfer of patients from hospitals into care homes.
The news is also that the Indian variant incidence is doubling in a week.

    1. Scary number of cases of the new varient.

Does this mean that the radio has decided to back Boris and throw Handy to the wolves?

      1. Don’t know the answer but LBC radio were pushing the idea that handcock ‘Misled’ the flounder and the cabinet on the testing of care home transfers.
Was talking to a neighbour earlier who proffered his hand for shaking.
Told him that I would delay taking his hand for a wee while yet.
He told me faithfully that he was now okay as he had had his 2 injections.
I pointed out that he might be having some protection but he could very easily pass the virus, he works as a taxi driver.
He is convinced that he is safe and not pasing on the virus.
        Into my current mantra
The vaccine doesn’t kill the virus.
It is passed by human to human contact.
It travels around the globe on aircraft very quickly.
The testing doesn’t pick up all positives.

The media are not getting the message over

        1. Absolutely right, Dave. And looking around at the moment you would think that nothing had happened.

People in shops and on buses with no masks and no social distancing, coughing and sneezing with impunity.

I saw a woman cough into her had (although you are advised to do it into your elbow) and then immediately pick up and discard several different items of shopping with the said hand.

It will come back to haunt them.
