  1. Nice group of cartoons!
Considering Boris’s relationship with his brother and sister, I was wondering about his wife and kids. He seems to have as messy a family life as Trumpy.
Wiki says he has a divorced wife, a wife he’s separated from and a “domestic partner.” And it says he has “5 or 6” children. On the other hand, The Sun says he has 4 children with a former wife, and a fifth with a former mistress. Apparently there’s a sixth from somewhere too.
I’m really not at all sure I approve. 😉

    1. He’s so like Trump in so many ways. He is currently being investigated for his involvement with some woman who accompanied him on foreign visits when he was mayor of London… and more recently putting his hands on women’s thighs while being seated at the table.

He could be Trump’s younger brother.

      1. The money that got dished out to this Arcuri woman amounted to £100,000, apparently. This is equivalent to about $130,000, which is the amount of money that got dished out to Stormy Daniels. Spooky, eh?

But Boris was smarter: he got the UK Government to pay the money. None of it came from his own pocket, and he didn’t have to get his personal lawyer to make the payment on his behalf.

I hope Boris never tries to put his hand on my thigh, because the idea gives me the heebie-jeebies, even though I have always been notoriously unpicky.

  2. So pleased Lady Hale is becoming famous everywhere, I think she’s great. Unfortunately she’s leaving on enforced retirement in January when she turns 75. Also Scottish Banter has the measure of it!

      1. Westmonster:- the pedantic parliament.
Would be great IF they could pose a question to the government ministers, without the preamble and where the likes of lying down mogg can squirm out of answering the real question by correcting the questioner’s english etc.
        Pedantics rule OK.

    1. One of the newspapers???? described her as an ex barmaid. Their journalists seem to have overlooked many other aspects of her career, particularly that she was a brilliant scholar and was the first woman in so many of her achievement. Still, she was at one time, a barmaid. So that means she knows nothing… and is probably an enemy of the people too.

Quite an achievement for a barmaid. Maybe she called time 2 minutes before the closing time!

      1. Leaving aside all Judges have previously been called to the Bar, Brenda was first in her class at Cambridge. She was also first in her year in the bar finals. I’m not sure if that has when she was working at the Fox and Duck or the Queen Vic!!!

Her motto is *Omnia Feminae Aequissimae

        Testify sister!

        * Women are equal to everything
