  1. it’s not even a matter of keeping up – they never had 59 MPs anyway. 56 yes but that was a fluke. With any luck it will be zero out of zero MPs next Westminster election.

Glad to see you posting again after the excitement (sic) of Bill and Kate’s Dundee sojourn yesterday…

    1. Aye true enough, PP.

I have to admit having their royal whatsits in the same town as Munguin and me and both at the same time made me have to have a wee lie down.

It was, indeed, one of the most exciting days of my life.

Needless to say I spent the whole day in the cellar counting Munguin’s second hand gold bars. (He counts the new stuff himself!)

  2. Bloody hell Tris. Yon BBC calculator has really been doing the rounds recently has it not? 🀭

How can ANYONE take this site (Guido’s NOT yours Munguin πŸ˜‰) seriously! πŸ€”πŸ˜‚

    1. For interest, have just checked the numbers. There are currently 35 SNP MPs. Not sure how many Plaid or how they voted but some Scottish LibDems might have voted with SNP.

    2. Musta been being so close to all that gunpowder. It was too much for his wee brain, Arbroath. (Guido’s, not Munguin’s of course. His brain is ginormous!)

  3. I’m sorry folks but please do not underestimate the ability of the British Establishment to pull a rabbit out the hat when push comes to shove.

While it’s great fun to talk catastrophe, martial law, empty shelves, no drugs etc, etc., we might all look a wee bit silly in 9 weeks time.

I’m not saying it’s going to happen, however I think you’re going to hear a lot more about WTO GATT Article 24 over the coming days. The SNP should at least be open to the possibility that they will have to deal with a new reality soon and forget about the Brexit fight at Westminster, that fight might be over.

    1. Anything is possible, but to most people it looks like the incompetent in Downing Street managed to get herself a job about ten grades above her ability.

I’m sure that despite the whole thing being a massive cock up since Cameron decided to promise a referendum, secure in the “knowledge” that he would be incoalition after the election and that Clegg would put the kibosh on it, right up to this afternoon… the EU and others will come to the aid of plucky little England.

Maybe they will send food parcels.

I really find it hard to imagine what kind of a rabbit they could pull out of the hat. If Jacob thought it was a rabbit, you can bet your lifer Anna would think it was a rat.

    1. That kinda was the point.

Dear old Guido thought that the 24 missing MPs were SNP. They were not. They were Tories and Labour and Liberal Democrats who either abstain or vote with the government.
