  1. well after the week we’ve had, Soppy Sunday comes as a pleasant relief. Some corkers – I’ve finally seen a pigeon I like – can’t they all be that colourful! Instead of those grey minging things. No 6 is cute – a fluffy joy – is it a baby blackbird? And as for no12 – what can I say….

No 20 – I never see such lovely sights at the bus stop. But then again I’m not in Sumatra or Borneo…

    1. I’m not sure what 6 is. I suspect he/she is a chicken/hen. I’ve not seen a baby baby blackbird. By the time they fledge (I see them every year as I have a group of them for breakfast lunch and dinner) they are really like adult birds, but brown. I bet one of our knowledgeable Munguinites will know.

  2. Many years ago, a rather refreshed mate of mine dived off that bridge at The Hermitage.
It was a pretty stupid thing to do, as the channel is very narrow with no room for error.
    The invincibility of youth!
